The Division of Student
Development and Enrollment
Management facilitates the
recruitment, enrollment,
engagement, and
retention of a diverse student
population. By providing a
caring, learning-centered
environment, the Division offers
challenges and support for
students to develop skills and
knowledge needed for success in
college and beyond.
To accomplish this mission, the
Division of Student Development
and Enrollment Management
endeavors to:

Focus on the unique needs of
first-year students with
intentional initiatives and
programs to aid their transition
into college.

Provide
effective advisement,
counseling, and other
support services for all
students; including
prospective students,
current students, and
alumni;

Help students
identify and pursue their
purpose;

Guide
students and their family
members through the
transition to the College
environment;
-
Provide
support and services that
enhance the recruitment,
enrollment, retention, and
success of students from
diverse backgrounds;
-
Support the
development of positive
relationships through
cultural, social,
recreational, personal, and
leadership opportunities;

Provide
opportunities for students
to achieve competence in
academic and non-academic
arenas through the
development of academic,
citizenship, and
decision-making skills;

Assist
students with transfer to
four-year degree programs
and/or the community
workforce;

Cooperate
with other units of the
College to promote programs
and services to achieve the
mission of the College.
