Gainesville State College believes that a college education takes place both inside and outside the classroom. The Student Development & Enrollment Management Office coordinates programs and services of an educational, social, and recreational nature which occur outside the classroom. It also supports classroom activities by providing services to both students and faculty members.

The Student Development and Enrollment Management Division consists of the Counseling & Career Services Center, Disability Services, Enrollment Management,  Minority Affairs & Multi-Cultural Programs, Summer Scholars Institute and Student Life. (Enrollment Management consists of Financial Aid, Registrar, Admissions, and Testing.)
