Financial Aid Deadlines

Fall Semester:  June 1st

Spring Semester:  Nov 1st

Summer Semester:  April 1st

 

If the deadline has passed, you are still allowed to submit applications and documents. 

 

Students submitting items after the deadline should be prepared to pay tuition and fees then allow the amount of time listed to receive reimbursement.

 

 Processing Time for Document Submission:


September - April
Allow 8 weeks processing time

May - August
Allow 12 weeks processing time

Scholarships

The Gainesville State College Foundation provides numerous scholarships to assist our students in reaching their goals.  Students must first complete the FAFSA before the actual amount of their Foundation Scholarship can be determined.  GSC students are encouraged to apply for these scholarships. 

The GSC Foundation Endowed Scholarships:

Bryson, Ed Cabell,             Carlisle/Pittard, GSC Alumni Association, Harry Chapman, Ralph & Mary Cleveland, Rita Collins, John & Margaret Cromartie, James & Eleanor Dunlap, Goizueta, Hennen, Robby Hewell, Kiwanis, Landrum, Bruce McArthy, James & Francis Mathis, Hugh Mills Jr., Mattie Moon, Gene Mooney, Bill Moore, Dean Myers, Neal-Payne, Herbert Robinson, Parks Rountree, Alexander B. Russell, Glenn & Ann Segars, A. T. Sharpton, Loyd Strickland, Joe Telford, Robert L. White, Warren Featherbone, J. Foster Watkins, and Tom Wilheit.

There are many other scholarships available through the GSC Foundation.  With the submission of one application, students are awarded the scholarships based on financial need and matching scholarship criteria.

The following scholarships have very specific criteria and requirements.  A separate application is required for these scholarships.
