FAQ's About HOPE
Do I have to be a full-time student to get HOPE?
No. Students are not required to be full-time
at GSC to get the HOPE Scholarship. However,
private institutions require students to enroll
full-time to get HOPE.
If I was not eligible for HOPE as a graduating senior
from an eligible high school, how can I get the HOPE
Scholarship? Students are checked for HOPE
eligibility after the 30th semester hour is attempted.
Student must have an overall 3.0 in ALL coursework at
the 30th hour checkpoint. If the student is not
eligible at 30 attempted hours, the next checkpoint is
60 attempted hours and then 90 attempted hours.
