FALL 2010  at GSC saw the Introduction to Python Programming and its Application to GIS class implemented into the GIS program. Emphasis is placed on developing practical experience in Python programming and its utilization in geospatial problem solving.  While the focus is on practical experience, developing an awareness for the history and present state of computer and software development within the realm of GIS and the broader field of computer science is also a major goal.  The course meets Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30pm - 8:20pm
