Georgia URISA is hosting a Student Conference for aspiring GIS professionals in conjunction with the THOMAS METTILLE STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS
Graduate Award: $500 for 1st Place $250 for 2nd Place
Undergraduate Award: $500 for 1st Place $250 for 2nd Place
K-12 Award: $500 for 1st Place $100 for 2nd Place
Criteria for Nomination:
Submit an abstract for a valid GIS project, used in a course of study at a Georgia institution.
Give a 15 minute presentation of the project , plus 5 minutes for Q&A.
Students must be currently enrolled at a Georgia institution.
Judging: Papers will be judged by Past Presidents and members of Academia.

Presenters will be showing research projects in front of potential employers

Award certificate and recognition on the Georgia URISA website.
