Spring 2012

This learning community combines EDUC 2120 (a requirement for EDUC majors) and ENGL 2401 (an Area C requirement).  The intent of the learning community is to explore diversity both in terms of education and literature and to also connect this information to the community.  Over the course of the semester, students will enjoy team-taught lectures, have the opportunity to go on field trips to learn more about diversity in Georgia, create lesson plans centering on issues in education, participate in a community service project to directly impact a local school with a diverse student body, and assist in developing diversity initiatives on campus
