Gainesville State College fees are assessed according to the policies of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. Fees are subject to change at the end of any semester. Fees are in the form of tuition fees, nonresident tuition fees, activity fees, technology fees, institutional fee and other fees as applicable. Fees of all students are due and payable at the time of registration or by the payment deadline specified on the schedule/fee bill. Payment may be made with cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover. Online payment via the student's Banner Web account is also available.
Failure to fulfill financial obligations may result in denial of readmission, registration, certification of attendance, transcripts, graduation, etc. Official transcripts will not be issued, and graduation will be denied for students whose accounts are delinquent. If a bank declines payment of a student's personal check and returns it to the College, the student will be assessed a twenty-five dollar ($25) service charge.
Fees and charges are subject to change in response to changes in University System of Georgia and/or Gainesville State College policies. GSC reserves the right to cancel a student's schedule of classes due to non-payment of fees at any time during the academic semester.
Military service members who are returning to GSC from active duty should contact the Business Office at 678-717-3780 to check their eligibility for the University System of Georgia Guaranteed Tuition Plan.
