From the first contact with our Admissions Office through advisement, registration, pursuing an academic program, receiving tutoring and other academic assistance, becoming involved in student activities, attending special events on campus, to obtaining a degree, students will receive personal attention from our faculty and staff who are committed to success.... In 2006 we are being named as one of four community colleges in the country to receive an award for our "Best Practices" in Retention. This is due to the positive attitude of our faculty and staff toward students, their assistance outside of class, as well as quality classroom instruction.

GSC provides support for students through a number of divisions and programs offered on campus, including Counseling and Career Services, free tutoring in our award winning Academic Computing, Tutoring and Testing Center, Academic Advising, Student Development, and more. As a GSC student family member, you are now a GSC community member.
