Harry Houdini

The Harry Houdini Biography website provides links for four periods of his life: 1874-1887, 1887-1900, 1900-1913, and 1913-1926 and beyond.  There are links for each of these periods with information and pictures about his activities for those years.  There is also a link to the Houdini Museum in Scranton, PA. 

The Houdiniana website is a treasure of information about Houdini. The site features audio files with Houdini’s voice, pictures of Houdini, and a variety of links related to Houdini.

The Houdini! site has a wealth of information about Houdini. It provides a discussion of his journeys to Europe and Russian, as well as some of his famous tricks.  The site has lots of photographs.

Admiral Robert Peary

The 1909 North Pole Expedition site contains information about Admiral Peary, Matthew A. Henson, and other members of the expedition.  There are a number of interesting photographs on this site. 

President Theodore Roosevelt
