The Compass and The Voice are student-run newspapers serving the GSC communities on the Gainesville (Compass) and Oconee (Voice)
Campuses. Student editors, writers, photographers, designers, and
advertising associates produce three editions of The Compass and The
Voice each semester; attend state and national college media
conventions; and compete in state and national competitions. GSC
student newspapers have won numerous awards in recent years,
including top honors for The Compass as the best two-year college
newspaper in the state of Georgia.
