Mission Statement:  The Art Department offers a strong foundation in the visual arts by striving to enhance our students’ understanding of both the traditional and innovative art techniques in a variety of media. We facilitate learning and academic excellence through quality instruction, investment in the individual, and advocacy for the arts. We equip our students with the necessary tools to create opportunities for themselves and to become contributing members of the community.
