Brief
Bio/Education: Cynthia Delaney Lollis is a
printmaker and book artist living in Athens, Georgia. Her
work has been exhibited and collected by museums, libraries,
and galleries in the United States and abroad. She is the
author of collaborative artists’ books with Annette Gates at
Women’s Studio Workshop, and with Daniela Deeg on
residencies in Germany and Belgium. Lollis earned an MFA at
the University of Georgia, where she has also been an
instructor both in Athens and in Cortona, Italy. Her
undergraduate work was completed at Mount Holyoke College
and the Corcoran College of Art and Design. For two years,
she was the coordinator of the printmaking, book arts, and
photography studios at the Penland School of Crafts. Born in
Paris, Lollis has lived in France, Italy, Ivory Coast,
Nigeria, and the United Kingdom.
