 How late may I withdraw from my classes without academic penalty?

Answer
  • Course Add/Drop and Withdrawal Deadlines are available online.
  • Most instructors include withdrawal deadlines on each of their course syllabi.
  • The midpoint of the semester signifies the last day to withdraw from a course without any academic penalty.  A "W" grade is not calculated into the grade point average.
  • A "WF" calculates into the grade point average as a failing grade.  Withdrawing from a course after the midpoint date will result in a grade of "WF."
  • Financial Aid students should check with the Financial Aid Office before withdrawing from courses in order to avoid any financial aid implications.
