How do I apply for graduation?

Answer

One semester before you plan to graduate, print out a copy of the Academic Advising Worksheet (also known as a Program Planning Sheet) and your Tranguid from Banner Web. Complete the Worksheet. If you need assistance, your faculty advisor can help you. Obtain your advisor's signature on the Program Planning Sheet. 

 

  1. After meeting with your advisor, submit the completed and signed Program Planning Sheet to the Registrar's Office located in the Student Center, Room 250. (GAINESVILLE STUDENTS) or to the front desk, Office 101 Administration Building. (OCONEE STUDENTS) 
  2. The Registrar's Office will review your Program Planning Sheet and email you a letter via your GSC email giving further instructions/information and an application for graduation.
  3. The $45 graduation fee for the first diploma or $25 fee for a subsequent diploma should be remitted when you submit the completed graduation application to the Registrar's Office as instructed in the letter.
  4. All graduation candidates must complete an exit interview with the Financial Aid Office.  Contact Financial Aid (finaid@gsc.edu).
