How do I drop a class, and will I receive a refund?

Answer

If you are permitted to self-register, you may drop a class in Banner Web if the Drop/Add period is still active.  Go to "Student Services," "Registration," then "Registration and Schedule Adjustment."  If you require registration assistance, you may drop a course in the Registrar's Office (Student Ctr., Room 250) on the Gainesville campus or in the Administration Bldg. on the Oconee campus. 
 
If you drop a course during the Drop/Add period, you may be eligible for a refund.  Click on Course Drop/Add & Withdrawal Deadlines to check when the Drop/Add period ends.

If you have any difficulties dropping a course, contact the Registrar's Office at registrar@gsc.edu using your GSC e-mail account.
