We rehearse and perform music for large and very small ensembles in a wide variety of styles from the 16th century to the present. In the process, we develop our musical and instrumental knowledge, skill, sensitivity, and awareness so as to become better performers and someday teachers, as well. In rehearsal we learn teamwork and in performance we learn confidence and poise in front of groups large and small. In addition we travel to Atlanta, Athens, and Augusta to hear and see live performances of some of the best string players in the world. Throughout all of these activities we share fun and fellowship with kindred spirits.
