Mission Statement:

The Office of Minority Affairs and Multi Cultural Programs is dedicated to enhancing the College’s climate for diversity, multiculturalism and social justice. We are also a resource for all college departments and individuals seeking to improve the Gainesville State College's climate for diversity.

To carry out this charge, our office seeks to:

Enhance awareness of issues that affect people of color.
Orient and acclimate minority students to the GSC campus through the Peer Mentoring Program.
Promote character development through the Phi Theta Kappa Leadership Workshops.
Influence policy that impact people of color.
Support, recognize, and advocate for efforts to promote diversity, multiculturalism, and social justice within the campus community.
