Steps For Admission

Apply Online

All students

  1. Must complete and submit the application for admission.
    Effective July 1, 2004:
The fee for paper applications for admission is $35.
The electronically submitted application for admission is $25. This fee must be paid by credit card at the time the application is submitted.  All application fees are non-refundable.                               An application is valid only for the semester for which it is submitted.  Documents submitted by students who do not enroll are retained in an inactive file for a maximum of one year.  Students who wish to reactivate their application for a future semester must complete the application for readmission and return it to the Admissions Office, along with any outstanding documents, by the established application deadline.  If the student has attended another college in the interim, an official transcript must be sent directly from that college to the Admissions Office at the Gainesville Campus by the appropriate application and document deadline.
If you are a former GSC student, please click here to view our new readmission policy effective Fall, 2005.
  2. Must submit all required documents to the Admissions Office prior to designated application deadline. Please mail all documents to Admissions Office at Gainesville State College, PO Box 1358, Gainesville, GA. 30503. Once all required documents have been received, please allow 2 to 4 weeks to process a file for acceptance.
  3. Must comply with the requirements of the classification for which they are applying, as stated in the College's catalog.
  4. Must submit required immunization form.

An application is valid only for the semester for which it is submitted. Applications submitted by students who do not enroll are retained in an inactive file for a maximum of one year. If, prior to the end of that year, the student wishes to reactivate the application to a future semester, he or she must notify the Admissions Office by the established application deadline. If the student has attended another college in the interim, an official transcript must be sent directly from that college to the Admissions Office.
