Pell Grant

Definition

Pell Grant is a grant program for undergraduate students who have not completed a first baccalaureate degree. It is designed to assist students who are the least able to contribute toward their basic education expenses.  Pell Grant awards are based on full-time enrollment.  Enrollment in less than 12 semesters hours will reduce the amount received from the Pell Grant.
