The PROMISE Teacher Scholarship Loan is a component of Georgia's HOPE Scholarship Program which provides forgivable loans to students who aspire to be teachers in Georgia public schools. If you commit to teach in a Georgia public school, you will pay less for your education. For a four-year commitment, you can receive up to $6,000 in financial assistance.  GSC students in the Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education for Grades (P-5) may be elgibile.  Availability of the loan is determined each year by the Georgia Student Finance Commission (GSFC).
