The DD 214 is the "Discharge Certificate" of your military service record.  The Financial Aid Office must receive a copy of your DD 214 prior to certifying your enrollment with the V.A.  Also, the Financial Aid Office will send a copy of your DD 214 to the Registrar's Office so that you will be awarded PHED 1020 and PHED 1000 for GSC's physical education requirement.
