for students on the Gainesville Campus who attended at least one of the following semesters:      Spring 2008, Summer 2008, or Fall 2008 (Students who are not enrolled in the College for three or more consecutive semesters must re-apply for admission.).

Spring and Summer 2009 Academic Advisement

When is Spring and Summer 2009 Advisement?   Current students should seek advisement on October 13-24.  Contact your assigned Faculty Advisor for instructions on how to set up an appointment for advisement.  Academic Advisors will be available in the Advising Center for students who are on academic probation or who are returning from academic suspension.

Am I required to meet with an advisor? Learning Support students or students who are on Academic Probation, Continued Probation, or are returning from Academic Suspension must meet with an academic advisor to be eligible to register for courses.  Students on Probation or returning from Academic Suspension should see an advisor in the Advising Center in the Student Life Building.

Learning Support students should contact their assigned Academic Advisor for instructions on how to set up an appointment for advisement.

Spring and Summer 2009 Registration

Course Add/Drop and Withdrawal Deadlines for All Sessions

Check for registration restrictions in Banner Web that may block your registration eligibility or require you to see an advisor to register.  Login to Banner web, select "Student and Financial Aid Menu," then "Check for Registration Time and Holds."

When is Registration? Registration appointments will be assigned for the registration period October 27 - November 4.  Check Banner Web after October 15 for your registration appointment.

When is Drop/Add?

Students who can self-register may register after their appointed registration time.  Check Banner Web after October 15 for your registration appointment.

Are you not eligible to self-register?  Students with registration restrictions MUST meet with an academic advisor during the October 13 - 24 academic advisement period.  Students may submit their scheduling worksheet signed by their advisor according to the following registration schedule:

Students may also submit their scheduling worksheet signed by an advisor to the Registrar's Office (Student Center, Rm 250) for processing during regular office hours October 27 - November 4.

Financial Aid Information

  •  Priority Deadlines:  Fall Semester – June 1st, Spring Semester – November 1st, Summer Semester – April 1st.  There is an 8-12 week processing time for financial aid applications and all other required documentation, so apply early!

  • Late Applicants:  Students who apply after the priority deadline or whose financial aid is not processed by the time fees are due must be prepared to pay tuition/fees.  Students who are eligible for aid will be reimbursed at a later date.

  • Students whose financial aid applications/documentation are not processed by the fee payment deadline must be prepared to pay tuition/fees.  Students who are eligible for aid will be reimbursed.

  • Your Financial Aid Status - Check your Banner Web account to determine if your financial aid has been processed.

  • Financial aid forms and instructions are available on the Financial Aid Website.

Fee Payment Information

  • Invoices will now be emailed to your GSC email account.

  • Invoices can also be viewed in Banner Web.

  • View Tuition and Fee Schedule

  • Spring 2009 tuition and fees are due by 5:00 pm on December 4, 2008, for students who register for spring courses before December 4.

  • Summer 2009 tuition and fees payment deadline will be announced a later date.
