Graduation

The extended deadline for Fall 2007 Program Planning Sheets to be turned in to the Registrar’s Office for graduation Fall 2007 semester is October 26, 2007.

The deadline for Spring 2008 Program Planning Sheets to be turned in to the Registrar’s Office is December 3, 2007.

Program Planning Sheet

Students planning to complete all requirements for their program of study to graduate from GSC should meet with their advisor before pre-registration of the last term of attendance to complete the Program Planning Sheet.  The signed Program Planning Sheet is turned in to the Registrar’s Office, Dunlap Mathis, Room 106, for the preliminary graduation audit.

Graduation Application and Fee

Upon completion of the audit, an information letter and graduation application will be mailed to the address in Banner Web approximately two weeks after the receipt of the Program Planning Sheet.  The graduation fee should be returned to the Registrar’s Office with the application and fee.  The fee for the first degree is $25.00.  The charge for any subsequent degrees is $5.00.  No portion of the graduation fee is refundable.

Graduation Ceremony

Graduation Ceremonies are held twice each year in December and May.  Students completing degrees in Summer and Fall semesters are invited and encouraged to attend the ceremony in December at the end of Fall semester.  Students completing degrees in Spring semester are encouraged and invited to attend in May at the end of Spring semester.
