Mark came to the Oconee campus as
Director of Business Operations in
August 2007 following twenty-two
years of service in the University
System of Georgia. He worked for The
University of Georgia as an Internal
Auditor and Senior Audit Manager
from 1985 to 1996. From 1996
through 2005 he served as Director
of Financial and Management Services
for the Information Systems and
Technology Division at Georgia State
University in Atlanta. Most recently
he worked as a People Soft analyst
for the Board of Regents Office of
Information Systems and Technology
in Athens.
He
has lived in Oconee County for 18
years. He is married to Angie and
has two teenage daughters in Oconee
County Schools. Mark is active in
church ministries, the Oconee County
Chamber of Commerce , a graduate of
the “Leadership Oconee” program, and
an active member of the Rotary Club
of Oconee County. As a graduate of
GSC, he is enthusiastic about our
mission and committed to our spirit
and tradition of excellence in
touching the lives of students.
