Required Workshops for the TEP Program

In addition to the two online courses ( The Successful, Reflective College Teacher  and Developing engaging on-site, on-line, and hybrid courses) new faculty  will participate in an extended orientation program with staff, and will attend workshops on advising and on preparing for promotion and tenure. The advising workshops are scheduled early in the fall semester on the each campus. Faculty should plan to attend the advising session on their home campus. These workshops prepare faculty for their responsibilities as an academic advisor.  The Road to Promotion and Tenure is generally offered in January, either in a teleconferenced format or in separate workshops for each campus. This workshop includes information on preparing the annual self-evaluation as well as laying the groundwork for a successful promotion and tenure process.
