Description
Hand in Hand Hospice provides care for terminally patients and their families in their place of residence.  Hospice utilizes an interdisciplinary team approach in seeking to help meet the physical, spiritual and psycho-social needs of the patients and their families.  Bereavement care is also provided for our families as well as to the communities we serve (a 15 county northeast Georgia area). Bereavement support groups, classes and camps for children/teenagers are offered.

Volunteer time/s:

 Monday - Friday, mornings and afternoons

Volunteer Activities
Work individually with clients, supervise with group activities, clerical help, assistance with special events and celebrations.

Training Required

 Yes

Time commitment

 A one year commitment is required for those who complete the 20 hours of training and provide a break for care givers in the homes of clients.
