Description
Gateway is a safe place for women and children experience domestic violence. It is a private, non-profit facility. There is no cost for shelter or any service Gateway offers. Victims of abuse do not have to be sheltered to be eligible for services. The shelter is operated by paid staff 24 hours a day. The current facility offers a community-style living arrangement for its guests. During a woman's stay at the shelter, Gateway House supplies food, medicine, clothing, and personal items for her and her children, as well as comprehensive support services.

Volunteer time/s:

 Monday - Friday

Volunteer Activities
Supervise/assist with group activities and games. Group time with children (M 7pm,W 11am, Th 6:30-8:30).

Time commitment

 Can schedule hours most convenient for you, but must be dependable when helping with group time. Schedules of agreed hours are sent to the volunteer. NO DROP INS!
