Teaching English to Adults in Oakwood.
You don't need to speak another language to do this. What you do need is the desire to help people who are seeking to learn English and/or become citizens of our country. Training and support are on-going, with regular meetings and monthly in-service opportunities.

Teach English Language/Civics to adults whose primary language is not English. 

Prepare a weekly lesson plan for classes, utilizing materials provided or approved by the lead instructor, and turn in a summary of the plan to the lead instructor following each class.
Accurately document class attendance on the supplied form.

Monitor the progress of your students.

Training: In-service training one five hour session per month, on site supervision by lead instructor.
