Who Are We
        Over the River is an Athens, Georgia Neighborhood Association  made up of approximately 275 single family homes, duplexes and an apartment complex within the triangle formed by North Avenue, Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and the Bypass. The neighborhood is diverse in age, income, and race and we are working to involve and empower residents in the issues of gentrification, decent and affordable housing, and building community. In addition to creating a natural park for the youth and adults in our area to enjoy and learn from, we are also working on slowing down traffic and installing sidewalks on Ruth Street. Previous projects included working with the Garden Springs Community, trying to prevent their eviction.
