Gainesville State College Honors Program
The GSC Honors Program offers an opportunity for talented and motivated students to take enriched versions of selected courses. Honors classes offer a more in-depth study of the course topic. Students excel because they are a part of a group of highly-motivated peers and have more personal attention from their professors. Class size is usually limited to 12-18 students. They develop intellectually and creatively in a supportive environment. Classes focus on discussion, analysis, and problem solving rather than on lecture, memorization, and quiz taking. These classes provide a strong foundation for excellence in undergraduate, graduate, and professional pursuits.

Participation in the program does not add or change any requirements for graduation.
