ACCEL

The Accel Program is designed for high school juniors and seniors enrolled in accredited Georgia public or private high schools who wish to enter college and earn college credit while they complete their junior and/or senior year of high school.  Under Accel regulations, students may simultaneously receive high school Carnegie unit credits and college credit hours. Learn more about the ACCEL program. >>

Move on When Ready (MOWR)

On April 29, 2009, Governor Sonny Perdue signed HB 149, "The Move on When Ready Act," (MOWR) which permits 11th and 12th grade students to leave their assigned high schools and attend post secondary institutions full-time to earn course credit that will apply towards high school graduation and college. Learn more about the MOWR program. >>
