The mission of GSC Plant Operations & Facilities is to provide quality service and create a safe and healthy environment for our student customers as well as our internal customers, the faculty and staff. This task can only be achieved by working together as a TEAM. This also necessitates being good stewards of the college’s resources to create an environment of sustainability and enhance the physical assets of both Gainesville and Oconee campuses that will take us well into the future.
Plant Operations & Facilities’ personnel are the backbone of our mission. The TEAM takes pride and ownership in our services. Our leadership strives to ensure our TEAM is prepared for the future demands and growth. The ability to meet these criteria enhances the institution’s image. We encourage teamwork, involvement, communications, and training. Trust and respect are essential values for our success. We will continually strive to improve our services and customer satisfaction by taking advantage of the resources available to us.
The goal for Plant Operations & Facilities is to meet the rapidly increasing demands that come from the college’s remarkable enrollment growth by providing the highest level of services in a proactive, responsive, cost effective manner that parallels and supports the college-wide Strategic Goals and Master Plan.
