Graphics, Digital Signage, and Web Slides
Description
Announcements and events can be publicized graphically on campus digital signage and the college website.  In addition, graphic creation for departmentally-sponsored announcements or events may be requested using the DMG Request System by Faculty and Staff.

Campus Digital Signage:
  • Digital signs are located in several buildings on both campus which display graphics for promotions.  Student-sponsored graphics may be sent to Jeannie Nash through the DMG Request System, attached by a PowerPoint slide which will then be converted and published to the appropriate digital signs.  Official department-sponsored announcements and events may also be sent this way OR request that the Digital Media Group also create the graphic.
Website Slideshows:
  • The GSC Home, Current Students, Faculty/Staff, and Visitors web pages contain a graphical slideshow with links to more information.  Slides/graphics allowed for web publication are official department-sponosored announcements and events.  See above for more about requesting graphic creation.
Availability
One part-time graphic artist is available 19 hours per week to create and publish graphics.  It is recommended that requests be made four weeks prior to the event, two weeks for creation and two weeks to effectively promote the event.  Graphics will be created on a first-come, first-serve basis and upon staffing availability.
