STARLIGHT – Rockin’ Through the Decades was a huge success! Over 4,000 people came to campus to see the fun performances of "The Pak" and "Back in Time"! Bay Fireworks lit up the night sky with a beautiful and exciting fireworks display. Thanks to everyone who shared this special night with us to support the GSC Alumni Association! 2012 GSC ALUMNI & FRIENDS GOLF OPEN
Friday, October 12 - Chattahoochee Golf Club
The Gainesville State College Alumni & Friends Golf Open will be held at the Chattahoochee Golf Club! Last year, we raised over $28,000 for student programming and scholarships, and we anticipate another highly successful event! We hope you’ll join us at the Chattahoochee Golf Club, located on the northern banks of Lake Sidney Lanier. Course Crafters and architect Kevin Hargrave teamed up to renovate this classic Robert Trent Jones Sr. layout. New tee complexes, Bent Grass Dominant Southern Greens, new carts, cart paths, and clubhouse improvements make this a top-notch course.
We are pleased to announce our Honorary Chairs, Diane and Doug Magnus, along with our Presenting Sponsor, Conditioned Air Systems, Inc. (CAS). Mr. Magnus is an alum (1973) of our College, and both Diane and Doug are supporters of of our students and College mission. CAS is a family-owned Air Conditioning/HVAC business with a proven reputation as North Georgia's most reliable HVAC source for over 25 years. They believe in investing in the community and are involved in numberous community organizations. Sponsorships ranging from $125 to $5,000 are available. Cost for a team of four is $500, and an individual player is $125. Shotgun start is at 10 AM, with a closing reception at 3 PM. All players will receive breakfast, snacks, goodie bag, and a golf shirt.
