As part of Microsoft
Corp.’s commitment to education, the company is
re-introducing The Ultimate Steal program this school
year, inviting students who are actively enrolled at
educational institutions to purchase Microsoft Office
Ultimate 2007 at a low student price of $59.95 (U.S.).
This program begins in the United States today with
additional countries to be launched throughout the year.
The offer will be available to students throughout the
academic school year.
The Computer
Helpdesk is a service provided by student workers to assist
other students, faculty, and staff with computer related
issues. We can be reached via e-mail (preferred form of
contact), phone, or walk-in assistance. Walk-in assistance
locations on the Gainesville Campus are in the Library and
the ACTT Center located in Academic 3. The walk-in
assistance location on the Oconee Campus is next to the
Library. Students work at the helpdesk throughout the day.
However, helpdesk staffing hours vary since students attend
classes. Typically, helpdesk staff work at the helpdesk on
weekdays anytime from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. except on Fridays
when both campuses close early. The Gainesville Library
helpdesk is staffed on every Sunday from 1:30 p.m. to 7:00
p.m.."
