Tuition and Fees
Fees and Expenses
Gainesville State College fees are assessed according to the
policies of the
Board of Regents of the University System of
Georgia Guaranteed Tuition
Plan. Fees are subject to change at the end of any
semester. Fees are in the form of tuition fees, nonresident
tuition fees, activity fees, technology fees, and other fees as
applicable. Fees of all students are due and payable at the
time of registration or by the payment deadline specified on the
schedule/fee bill. Payment may be made with cash, check,
MasterCard, Visa, or Discover. Online payment via the
student's Banner Web account is also available.
Failure to fulfill financial obligations may result in denial of
readmission, registration, certification of attendance, transcripts,
graduation, etc. Official transcripts will not be issued, and
graduation will be denied for students whose accounts are
delinquent. If a bank declines payment of a student's personal
check and returns it to the College, the student will be assessed a
twenty-five dollar ($25) service charge.
GSC is currently under contract with the
Williams & Fudge Collection Agency.
Students will be held liable for outstanding tuition and fees plus
any service fee assessed, applicable collections costs, court costs,
and legal fees associated with collection efforts.
Fees and charges are subject to change in response to changes in
University System of Georgia and/or Gainesville State College
policies. GSC reserves the right to cancel a student's
schedule of classes due to non-payment of fees at any time during
the academic semester.
